Health Care Reform or Musical Chairs?

So called health care reform is nothing more than a game of musical chairs where Congress will decide the winners and who will be left out in the cold. The only thing that is certain is that the taxpayers and the currently insured will be looking for a seat when the music stops.

- Joe, I think that disgruntled Democrats and Republicans are who the majority of the Tea Party is. Contrary to popular sentiment, I do not believe that the Tea Party is some radical arm of the Republican Party.

- Dude must of had trouble digesting that last wave of pork. His legacy is a mess of debt that our grandchildren will be paying so that the good folks of Pennsylvania and various Murtha supporters could suck money from the rest of our pockets. I will not miss him.

- It looks like the new norm for famous politicians to cash in on their celebrity.  Look at Reagan and Clinton.  Palin is no different.  Dollars to dounuts, President Obama will be on the $250,000 a speech circuit exactly 4 years from now.

- I agree - and I also agree that the same thing could be said about the President too. They are two sides of the same coin.

- Look at any piece of legislation. See all of those earmarks and special interest projects? Those have to be considered waste that various watchdog groups point out all of the time. Recent examples - the Louisana purchase and the Cornhusker kickback. Look up the John Murtha airport.

- Jack, I believe that we needed to pump a ton of money through our financial system to prevent its collapse and that TARP probably did more good than harm, though I would have liked to have seen it administered more effectively.
